Military mast identification.

Does anybody know what this mast was used for? I picked 1 up locally with a bg-102-a bag with guy rings and tensioning guy wires. I cant find any info on it except the Fair radio site. Thanks.

I set the mast up with one other person who never set up a mast and myself. Having no instructions made for some fun but it was very easy to set up. Once up I thought we were up a creek as to how to get it back down. It came down just as easy as it was to put up just doing everything in reverse. Now to make an antenna for it as I think it will go nicely with the GRC-106.

That's a mast for the GRC-10 /GRC-49 radios. I recreated one using camo net support poles and 'P' cord with Pull Tites as shown in the picture. I used 2 of them to support a 75 meter dipole. The GRC-10 radios had a Yagi antenna that could be rotated from the ground. Your mast looks to be in great shape! Good find.
