Bruce:
I have to agree, I had my M543A2 hauled the 1634 miles to AR and I am glad I did. A road trip would have been fun but the truck was not ready for that kind of extended trip, it was worth the $2200 for the peace of mind.

Kevin,
Congrats on the new 816. They are a fun and useful piece of equipment.
I think you've made the right decision in having it trucked home.

Hi guys,

Bruce, no problem, it wasn't rude or taken the wrong way. Sometimes I need a strong message, I can be a little bull headed at times. Your message was spot on, many thanks! And thanks to everyone else for the information, stories and suggestions as well. I truely value everyones input, the hobby wouldn't be what it is without SS's.

I'm very excited about my M816. I wonder how many are left to come out? There couldn't be that many more could there? I'm also concerned that Demil B & Q may be restricted even more in the future. I recieved an email from GL a few months ago asking me how a restriction on B & Q would affect my business. Some people think something may be in the works.

Kenny, I'm not sure which ones will go, the M1028A1 will probably be the first. If anyone is intersted let me know. It did take first place at Papago for Post War 1 1/4 ton.

Every so often I'll have the boys outside and challenge them to count all the NDTs in the yard including whats on and off the trucks and trailers. It almost always exceeds 60 tires. Kevin, bet you have over a hundred.
