Ol Diggy Dog and I rolled on down to the beach just to check out the crowd, Diggy Dog had a great time barking at just about everyone and whining at just about every dog she saw.
We did not see any Humvee's or any other military vehicles but did spot this resto-mod Willys Woody which was pretty cool.
Our visit was cut short because it started to rain (GEEZ) and I do not want to be driving down a wet salt water beach, been there done that 50 years ago in my 57 Nomad on the same beach, big mistake!

We did mazurka canyon, then took highway 168 from Big Pine towards NV, entered wayman canyon up the hills towards bishop.

Finally made it the entire 65 miles from the house to Mt Rushmore... Great day yesterday.

Ww went on a 4th of July parade with the city of sunrise and the veterans advisory board. We won 1st place out of everyone on the parade.

Nice... I once had a beautiful tent in the "under canvas" with a view of the mountain. Sturgis 2019 and 2023!!!
