well after one crazy week I had to finish Dingers fuel tank build. After starting a day off and getting woke up at 1 am with a jack knife accident tractor trailer I had to go on site with - the week ended no better. So I had to just go down and pound metal to relieve myself and a sip of Crown helped.

Starting tomorrow - getting ready for the roast.

I left the engine as was after getting the pan off it and displaying the pieces and parts to Dinger. Will know soon enough when the time comes.

Spent the last couple days cleaning out the garage just to get some fresh clean air in there after the winter. SO - here is a little cleaning pics.

I had Sherwin Williams transparant expoxy sealer Marine grade for the floors - but the temp dropped last night and took today to fully harden.
So Dinger & I are kind of (no really) watching paint dry (selaer).

Got the other 1/2 of the garage ready to go for Monday on my day off.

I stuck Debs front end on Dingers jeep just to piss em off - it worked and it got him even more excited.

After tomorrow its getting ready for the roast time - I never did get to putting my LED headlights in the 109 today.

Anyone not seeing pics of us - Dinger is on the right - some scum bag slacker is on the left.

Same garage - I just had several sheets of 1/4 in plywood from the 109 builds laying around and got sick and tired of how it "could" be and "should" have been inside. SO this was the weekend to rip - tear - seal - clean like I like to work.

Can't get nothing past those sharp eyed CAMO members:roll:

I spy, with my little eye, something....SNAP-ON! The only way to go...good job Zout! Glad you have a clean garage, I have to do that once in a while just to feel like I could do something then.

I suspect they are waiting for some "clear liquid" to magically appear so they can make some more white cherries!!roflroflrofl

On the other hand, they may be discussing plans to build a bear trap.
They both know that in less than two weeks a visious, leg knawing, food swipping four legged creature is gonna migrate north...and he will be hungry:lol::lol:

seeing as there is a lot of speculation and harrasment on the progress - I am about ready to call the engine shop and tell him whatever the condition the rebuild is in - I am picking up parts and sending them off to another rebuilder. I can understand the "southern" thing - BUT it is way past due. Do not ever think kindness is a sign of weakness. And I hope he has his pencil ready to start chopping costs.

Ga Rally is slowly approaching - and I am not ready for Debs a** kicking cause she cannot ride the trails.
Now to keep her away from the bon fire and away from Ron - Gimp - Eric and PB and Elmo I stand a chance. Tigger is another problem all in itself.

Yes Tigger still needs to be dealt with - but the GA Rally will be the stomping grounds.

The engine is another issue - but I may have sold my fibreglass 16' boat (heck of a deal) to get the Mrs. Zout complete wire harness from Vintage Wiring out of Maine ordered. Cross your fingers and hope someone likes a 1/2 off deal on a complete boat with everything.

I sold my Harley Drag bike to get that boat - but she is worth more to make her happy to run the trails at the rally with the rest of you scoundrels.

Dropped Dingers engine at the shop today - took a couple pics of Debs. Rods all trued up to the crank - he has to hot bath the remainder and I have to get him some OD heat resistant paint - so as soon as it comes out of the bath and air dries - he can shoot the parts.

No big deal on time - I have another small project going on in the meanwhile - it all works out in the end.
