Wire it to the motion sensor that turns on a security light, that way the rabbits set it off at night. Would be like a prison break.

Picked up a 40 ft tower from a cell phone antenna company in Kennesaw Ga that had previously used it for training. Is gonna be perfect for the siren. Best part it was free. Just had to take it down and haul it away.

Air Raid Siren

Yesterday we recovered a Federal Sign and Signal Corporation, Type 3 air raid siren. We're confirming details on the history and year but some of these were made in Chicago by girls towards the end of the war.

Thought I'd bump your thread, check your progress, add a few pics and freak out the neighbours with a little video. It's actually fairly tame because we could only give it half the voltage but we got it to scream one more time. The video shows one that's mounted in a Dodge so truck mounting them is perfectly natural.

This one came off the old firehall, near the legion, in Ma-Me-o beach at beautiful Pigeon lake. Eventually we hope to make it part of some type of display but it will be preserved, painted and ready to serve.
