That's a great deal for adapters for 2 pin cables to single pin receptacles. The adapters for single pin cable ends to 2 pin receptacles like pictured in post 3 are all over the place for $10-$30 but not the other ones. I'd like to have at least one to go with my 50ft 2 pin cable, I'll have to keep an eye out. If you get a chance to post pics that'd be great as I'm not even sure I've seen a picture of one.

If you can get your hands on a Number 1 tool kit listing, I think there is the part number and NSN for them in it. Maybe not a NEW listing, but something a bit older. There also should be the replacement heads and cable, to make a set of slaves cables to the length you want.

So you all were right the 002a is a 2 pin & the 803a is single!! So the hunt begins for cables and adapters! HAPPY NEW YEAR to all & thanks for the great Intel as always!!!

I personally, would buy a new plug from Gimpy. That way you don't need the adapter. I would still get one, because if you do any amount of work on gen sets, you will need it. If you only work on your own, change it.

Update to 803-A slave cable

Thanks for the all the help. I was able to purchase a 20' NOS Nato Slave Cable and 2- adapters. Also my Mep 002A already had the solagizer 24 volt installed, so was able to pick one up reasonable for the 803A. Everything works fine.
