If the frame is bent upward at that point and the crossmember has not been changed or repaired the
crossmember most likely is bent. The center of the crossmember where the adapter mounts should be approx 13/16" lower than the ends where it attaches to the frame. I just went out to the garage and measured a NOS
crossmember I have using a strait edge across it. The driveshaft I would look very close for dings. It sounds
like your truck got forked over like many do. Good luck.

Yeah I think it is the crossmember I bolted it up solid on the driver side, it will only line up with one hole on the adapter/mount and almost an inch from the hole on the passenger side. Got some ideas but one thing is for sure I dont have time to find and wait another crossmember.
