Trouble Loading Pages (takes 30 to 60 seconds per page)

Any body else having problems with page loading? I have a laptop, ipad, and a desk top and all 3 take forever to load . started over the weekend , have had the ipad on different servers so know thats not the problem.

Mine load fine. I'm on a 15Meg connection at home and 90Meg connection at work.

Both running Win7Pro and Chrome.

First, clear your cache, then run a 'ping' test to the site, and a 'tracert' to see if it's taking too many hops to get there. Then run one of the many speed tests to see how much throughput you are getting to your ISP, and post all that information here. The local geeks will then have a better mental picture of your problem and will be in a position to recommend possible solutions.

Next question is, what is your internet connection? Also define "different servers". Unless your Ipad is a wireless (service provided by wireless) even if you had different access points, I doubt you'd have different service providers (IE: Cable internet as well as DSL internet).

Start, run, type cmd, in the DOS window type "ping steelsoldiers.com" note the time it takes to respond.

From that same window (or if you've closed it, do start, run, cmd), type "tracert steelsoldiers.com". Most likely it's best to post up the results of the trace route. results. For example, here's mine from home.

As you can see, it took 13 hops just to get to the steelsoldiers web server from my connection.

WOW, I can see how that would slow things down, EVEN on a fast connection, just one slow hop or problem would do things in

Yup, but it's always easier to blame the admin I guess.

(That's just a joke, but honestly there's a lot of varibles I have no control over outside the server)

Ok I think I fixed my problem,somtimes its the simpliest things, reset my router ( I'm A Dummy ) and site seams fine now, anyway and thanks for the help!
