What are hard to find parts for a CUCV?

The power steering pump rear brackets are hard to find, both the small bracket from the pump stud and the bracket from the engine block the pump stud fits to. Also the power steering bracket it self is hard to find. IF working on the power steering pump make sure you use the right pully puller, if you bugger up the pully you will have fun finding another pully.

These parts were in the back of my deuce when I picked it up at the base. Are these cucv parts ? If so who wants them and what will you give me? If not, anybody know what they are?

Find someone who's partin' those trucks out..I found mine thru a buddy that slipped up and bought the wrong truck..He had to take it anyway.. Blazer and pick-ups are the same fuel cap.. Starters are scarce, start relays are scarce..I used a NAPA start solenoid to energize the starter from the dash mounted relay location..

Just ordered a trans. vacuum valve from Doghead for $75. I had been to the Chevy dealership parts dept this morning and got a price of $150 and change. I don't really need one, but at that price, I'll take one in case I need it and if I don't I can always get my money back.

buy every parts unit you can find and store.crush the rest or sell.the supply is getting harder to find and costs are rising. i buy these all the time.pm me i may have it.i am restoring a m1009 now.i have 4 now.1 m1031 also.
