Actually, a duece would more suited than the Delorian. A deuce is solid metal and you could attach a pole to the gun ring mounts if you did not have plutonium. So you would not need that clock tower setup. It's multifuel and can run on almost anything. This would sovle the fuel problem in the third movie. Won't need that train. Inaddition, it would be well suited in all time periods like the 80's mall, 56 corn field landing, 80's Biff future, and wild west.

You would lose leg room unless you put the flux capcitor in the bed. You could probally do that and run a slave cable to it.

Build a rack and put it on the roof, better cooling that way. Flux capacitors can get as hot as 350 Kelvin.
