Are C and D turbos still manufactured?

Internal wastegate turbos do tend to have some outward appearance. There has to be room in the turbine housing for the gate assembly and they generally have an external pressure actuator fed from the compressor side to operate the gate valve. The picture is a GTA3776 from a Navistar DT466.

I did not mean to say there was nothing on the outside of the turbo, just that there would not be the huge valve hanging off the side. Of course there would be the air solenoid and hose and mounting bracket. I said this because of confusion from other members about where was the wastegate.

I have, what I believe ... Is a NEW turbo for your truck... If this is what you need, send me a pm..... everything I could find said it was for a whistler.

Oh, and about the turbos and types,it is strange but all the Deuce's I drove in USAEUR were not whistler turbos and none had heaters. Also had very few jeeps with side curtains. I suppose they all went to the war in Vietnam.
