finally got the time to finish my box repair..I didn't put any holes in it yet...I don't plan on going thru any water that deep yet...but i will add some holes later. I did save those original marking..ground and painted around that spot. I'm guessing the "RP" means re-paint, but whats "WB"...

I changed my t-case oil yesterday. drained about 5 qts out looked really thin..and blackish. Drain plug had a small amount of very fine metal. Put new stuff in went for drive. I went 15 miles and glanced underneath everyrthing looked fine. Drove back home another 15 miles, went to bleed air...

I just put Shell Rotella T6 5w-40 in my truck works great. Wasnt cheap 19.50 a gal at Wal-Mart. (best price i could find) If your gonna go with syntheic make sure it full syn not the blend crap..that stuffs a rip-off notice they dont tell you what percentage of the oil is synthetic. -Adam
