Resurrected this shit spreader modified unit to running, but at startup she winds up to 1600 rpm. Both the hand throttle and foot pedal only control from 1600 rpm to redline. It won't wind down to an idle even after at operating temp, and that makes parking interesting.

We have to instal the engine covers before towing an aircraft into hangars equipped with foam fire suppression. Apparently it is some nasty corrosive stuff.

While I'll love my 7.3L forever, the 6.4L is one hotrod of a motor ten times better than the 6.uhoh. Which also got an unfair wrap in my opinion. I did think about trading my 6.4L truck for a new 6.7L, but they are all now automatic, and nothin' is better than a bolt action diesel.

I just bought Heather Mae a new puppy, and I got to get two more Fords. So it's give and take.
