    Thinking of MRAP super singles

$3000ish sounds about right for just the tires, that's not going to include any shipping costs (if applicable), adapter plates, hardware, etc... You need to realistically add on roughly $1000+ in cost for all that. As far as the spare goes, you could use a NDT in pinch, but I wouldn't drive on...

    Runaway multifuel 6/20/14

There are two things with these trucks that scare the crap out of me and always make me mildly paranoid: 1. A runaway engine 2. The brakes failing. I hope the engine isn't damaged... Keep us in the loop.

Four Wheeler article on the Deuce.

I stumbled across this article when I was first getting into MV's and searching for info on them.

    Clutches In the heat

It could be an adjustment issue. I'd double check that and go from there.

Just Got My Deuce, and of course a few new questions.

I'm going to agree with everyone else. If the truck has been sitting for 7 years, chances are the fuel is garbage. Get that changed along with the filters, run some Seafoam or something similar through the tank and then take it out and give it a good drive. It's extremely likely that you're...

    Repair/maintenance Assistance needed OR

It's really not that bad of a job, it just can be time consuming. Along with the above posted write up, I did one a while back as well: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?118090-M35A2-Front-axle-and-brake-service

    Need to find cheap Deuce

Not likely, unless its mislabeled and nobody takes notice of it. Deuces (A2's in particular) are becoming very scarce on GL, when they do pop up they usually go for a premium or are in very rough shape. Couple in the 10% fee and all the other "hassles" of dealing with GL, you would probably be...

    Need to find cheap Deuce

I highly doubt you will find an even decent condition running truck for that much. I can't speak for your area necessarily, but around here in NC the cheapest I've seen a running Deuce go for was $3200, and it wasn't drivable (brake issues).

    LT. Dan M35a2 Modification Thread

That's completely normal. It's the water pump forcing the coolant to flow. My guess if your radiator isn't getting hot at all is either a stuck thermostat or air pocket stuck at the thermostat or water pump. Another option is: if you flushed the system, you could have knocked some crud loose...

    LT. Dan M35a2 Modification Thread

Make sure your radiator isn't clogged before you replace the thermostat. If you have an IR temp gun, get the truck warmed up and then use the thermometer across different areas of the radiator, if you have any significant temperature differences you probably have a blockage somewhere. If you...

    Started my digital camo

That looks really good. I've toyed around with doing an alternative camo pattern, I'm really curious to see the completed project.

    What turbo is this???

I need an engine... Why can't I come across a deal like this? I'm jealous.

    W3AZEL's crew cab build

Very nice build! [thumbzup] I've been going through and reading all the crew cab build threads I can dig up. One of these days I'm going to do a crew cab, but I plan on keeping ours 3 axle.

    Nylon Radiator Fan?

I like where this thread is going... I never even thought to look into aftermarket radiators that could work with a Deuce. I have a slightly leaky radiator on our '76, I might go this route instead of getting a new one or getting the current one repaired. Thanks for the info Greg!
