Hey Folks, moved onto my next latest and greatest restoration and i'm in need of a donor truck or body parts. i picked up a 53 M37 real cheap with a AOK drivetrain and AOK frame. the body on the other hand is a complete disaster. Theres not really much to work with as i dont mind welding etc etc...
i have used POR-15 countless times on many gas n fuel tanks. works like a charm and easy to use. the key is take your time, don't rush, and make sure tank is super clean before you seal it. good luck
no to sound like a wise a#$ but why didn't you just cut the tree? maybe that round thing on the front of your rig with the wire on it would have worked too. been in a similar jam and manage to get myself out by cutting a few small trees and slid right out no problem. spared my pride as well!
very nice VT, my next project is a mack as well. i plan on going with the yellow nose just like yours with a ring mount. i have the truck in my shop now for about a year. just workin on a little m274a5 now. once its done the mack rolls up.
pm sent. by the way never mix any grease unless its the same base and NGL rating. different bases can have ill effects and cause grease to seperate and break down causing very little to no lubrication what so ever.

thanks guys, yes it was a complete tear down to frame rails. sand blasted to bare metal and built back up again. took just about a year and a half from start to finish. most parts are either new or rebuilt. thanks again guys
just gotta put the hood on and get some stencils from rick larsen and its finished. tried to get it done for aberdeen but just not enough time. the mule is my next plan of attack, then a 5 ton Mack m54a1c
