I had a buddy help me paint it with Sherwin Williams....I love the way it looks but it scratches so easily. You could rub your finger down the side and see the scratch forever. This is my only complaint with it. One day I would love to do the real camo paint job....

Other than pouring down rain all day it was great. The Veteran's Museum in Huntsville is awesome!! There were several M1009s there and the guys were very nice and a wealth of knowledge.

well no luck today. :-( 578 miles later and 5 rust buckets, and 12 hours on the road it was not the best day. we had fun and i am so glad i dont have one of those pieces of trash in my driveway. this makes me appreciate all the m1009s i see on this site so much more!

thanks! yes it is on the line...actually these two are near chattanooga at a dealer. i am going right by Redstone to get there though....
