But wait, there's more: No ground for horn at steering column

I know I am getting old and have CRS but it seems to me that years ago we had this same ground issue with customers vehicles. Our fix at that time was to make up a short wire with eyes crimped on the ends and attach it from one side of the rag joint to the other. Keep it as short as possible so...

Fuel Tank very slow leak and Fuel gauge not registering full

Great tip on the seat belt material Rick. I have the tank out of my Allis Chalmers and have been looking around the shop for something to fit between the straps and the tank. I never thought to go out in the yard and get a seat belt. Thanks for that. Cheers, Barry

    M1010 Adventures

My daughter went to school in North Bay and then lived there for a while so I knew of the underground complex but didn't realize it was that extensive. How deep does it go? I remember it was a major NORAD base for the USAF and the RCAF and it was going to be the first target for the Soviet...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Rob, I can understand your hesitation about travelling alone but with all the vehicles going to War and Peace on the ferry could you not find someone to tag along with? The times I went to War and Peace from The Netherlands I couldn't believe all the migrants living in the bushes outside the...

Any restrictions on selling a m1009 to a guy up north in Canada?

If there is no End User Certificate with the vehicle then importation is easy. My M1010 didn't have an EUC because it had been released to a police department first. US Customs requires an original vehicle ownership (registration) seventy two hours before the vehicle comes to the border. That...

    M-1010 Radio mounting bracket

Frank, I will bring it to the garage for Wednesday. The spare mount will have to wait as shoulder surgery has not quite healed enough to work over my head. I know you think no matter what I do I am in over my head! Barry
