Yeah, the weather has been amazing. I think the seller decided to offer his "bargain" elsewhere. I saw the seller had run chain through the rear wheels to prevent theft, as well as through the steering wheel. Seems to me that anyone looking to steal a truck as big as a deuce would have tools to...
No, it isn't the "Malibu Deuce". I see that black and chrome thing way too often. Nice Can Back cover on it, though. I am waiting to see the For Sale sign on that truck.
The Deuce I was talking about wasn't there when I drove home last night, so no pictures. Was it a nice truck? Any Deuce is...
Maybe my little town has got the wrong reputation. I was driving home and almost caused a wreck, slamming on the brakes to pull over for a Deuce on the roadside with a For Sale sign on it. I have been wanting one for sooo long, but just haven't been able to pull the trigger.
So when one appears...
I agree... it looks a bit pricey. But if the seller is accurate when he says it is the first truck released to the civilian market........ it STILL seems like too much money!
The complete truck looks amazing, but this burned carcass is a real mess! If only I had an extra $20k sitting around.......

Thanks for the correction on the axel mfgr. The price tag for the smallest vehicle in the family is around $400k, the medium one is $600k, and the biggest truck is $750k! Big, big numbers. But what price tag do you put on the life of one young Marine?
I haven't learned yet how to post photos. However, check out the trucks at :

If a more capable member likes these trucks, maybe they can get some photos into this thread.
Interesting that they use Marmot-Herrington axels.
RE: wrecker
If he gets anywhere close to his Buy It Now price, I see a whole industry changing gears. I just saw that thing on E Bay and came here to post the link, but you all are already on it. How about black with yellow trim? An even worse nightmare!
I saw that truck too, and also wondered about the 1990 model year designation. Same seller (I think)has aonther one listed with what looks like a 5 ton air cleaner(?) on the hood.
