Good source for air coupling nuts and air lines

Hmmm. I looked over the coupling nuts at the local HW store. The threads didn't fit. I wonder if the threads are just mangled. I assumed it was some gold plated military non-standard connector.

Good source for air coupling nuts and air lines

Hi All, I've had my deuce for about a week and am working my way through all the systems. I've found several air leaks I would like to resolve. It looks like most are around the "coupling nuts" referenced in the attached image from the service manual. I will probably need to replace some air...

Who has installed ARB air lockers in at least one axle of thier bobber?

Air lockers are open diffs when not engaged so drive same as stock when unlocked.

Who has installed ARB air lockers in at least one axle of thier bobber?

I'm interested to hear about experiences of bobber owners that have have installed a locker. It seems like a lot of what keeps a stock deuce moving is all the rubber on the ground. With one less axle it seems like a locker would almost be mandatory for sticky offroad situations. Any vids of...

Could you mount a mirror on the front bumper to allow one man winching

Marti, That sounds like what I was thinking. Any chance you have a picture of your setup?

Could you mount a mirror on the front bumper to allow one man winching

Just thinking about the challenges of one man winching which I know is not recommended. Could you mount a convex mirror on the front bumper so you could watch the winch operation from the driver's seat and clutch in if something started going sideways?

    overdrive gears available soon

Can the average shade tree mechanic install this kit? How many are out there now? How much acceleration is lost?
