Hello everyone. I picked up a different antenna and found out it has a smaller base on it. I'm not sure what base I need. I see my base shows 3900A and the new antenna is just 3900. Is that what the difference is? Thanks for any inputs.

Does anyone make lockouts and double splined axles like you can get for the Deuce axles?

Thanks for the info m38. I had to park the pickup on top of the old section to hold it while I pulled the ball off. It didn't look like it did any damage and it latched right on to the new antenna.

So with the FDC bypassed the droop screw would need to be turned clockwise to reduce surging?

Yes to all other than I haven't touched the droop screw. I've been reading up on adjusting it. Is it real touchy when making adjustments? Thank you.

Figured others can learn from my mistake. The skilcraft water can doesn't clear the door if you're planning to use the running board holder. Good can at a great price, just don't plan on that location.
