I have an extra new rear cargo cover for M548 . let me know if u plan to put a cargo cover back on them . Pretty simple machine . Restoration should be easy .
Fixed . Mine was binding on the inner shaft . I had to take the nut off and knock the arm off the splined shaft and pull the shaft out of the part that bolts to the housing . Once apart it looked clean as a whistle ,but I wiped it with my fingers and temporarily put the shaft back in and it...
My pump was a Muncie belt drive . It was on a State of IL plow truck built for state of IL . It ran the plow , spreader and the dump while cruising down the highway with a Cat 3116 . Was a pretty simple setup with a simple bracket that held it on . Electric clutch to turn it off . Think mine...
You just about got this project wrapped up . How about for the next one , I have a M2HB 50 BMG on my A3 . Get IL to let me put a muffler,can,supressor on it , it hurts my ears . Thanks for all your hard work !
Don't feel bad you don't have the proper tools , because most the tire changing hand tools these trucks come with are junk , making the chances you would get the rim and tire off marginal . If you were going to swap out all the tires to ntd you would be wishing you had the tire service come...
The army truck was at a disadvantage the way the strap is hooked up the monster truck would lift the rear wheels of the deuce upwards giving the deuce less traction and pulling down on the monster trucks rear wheels giving it more traction .
Do you know if your pads are similar to a M113 as in the pic ? The M548 and M113 pads are the same . I believe the track shoes may be the same also . I have also seen these pads on other tracked vehicles ,M574 ,I think , but not sure .
