    M35A3 Air tank draining

Thanks. Does it matter whether the valves are rotated left or right (they seem to turn both ways?) Also...what would it cost to put in automatic valves (ballpark)?

    M35A3 Air tank draining

How do you drain the air tanks on the deuce? There are 3 oblong valves...do you unscrew them all the way or just turn 90 degrees (ball valves?) How frequently should this be done? Thanks.

    M35A3 Noob questions

Loving my truck. Few questions though: 1. It seems to have a governor...a hex bolt sticking up under the gas pedal. Should I leave it be, crank it down to allow more pedal movement, or remove it? 2. How important is it to let it idle after running to cool the turbo? Should I do this every...

    M35A3 tires/rims prices?

New wheels are great. I picked them up from C&C...cost me an arm and a leg but they were brand new with run flats. I've only driven the truck once since I put them on last week and its a nice step up in performance. On a cost benefit basis, though, the jury is still out.

Yeah, tires and wheels (together). 14.5"x20 Michelins. I upgraded to Hemitt wheels.

    M35A3 tires/rims prices?

I just upgraded my M35A3C (avatar pic) to 47" tires and am looking to sell the 7 tires and rims. Five are excellent (95% tread), one has a cracked sidewall, and one is brand new (spare). Came off an Air Force deuce with 4400 miles. What's the going rate for these? I'll list them for sale in...

CUCV Road Trip and what I learned

Great post. Where did you get your refurbished seats? Also, I'll need a new dash/console panel as mine is cracked, and a few other interior cosmetic parts any suggestions where to get them? I just got it registered/insured/inspected, and I'll be painting it in a few weeks. Thanks.

    Historic tags for 97 M35A3

Any way to determine the age of the truck based on the VIN stamp on the frame? Six digit number on data panel?

    Historic tags for 97 M35A3

Thanks guys. My M35A3 deuce arrived and i'm looking forward to making her a beut. The SF97 form asks for the VIN...i'm guessing this is not the NSN or six digit number on the data panel. Where is the VIN?

    CUCV Camp Shelby Haul

Hi...looking to haul a CUCV from Camp Shelby to Conshohocken, PA 19428. The vehicle starts but has a flat rear tire and it doesn't look like it has a spare. Could you give me a quote to haul it including loading and unloading? Thanks. Steve

    Historic tags for 97 M35A3

I've seen some guys tag their 90's A3's with historic plates. It looks like there are some cost savings with title and insurance for doing so. How do you tag a 90's truck as historic? Thanks.

    CUCV Camp Shelby Haul

Just won a GL auction for a CUCV out of Camp Shelby. Anyone interested in hauling to 19428? Unit starts/runs but has a flat tire. Here is the link: 2320 - Trucks & Truck Tractors, Wheeled at Government Liquidation I'm a total greenhorn but would it make sense to do a recovery? Or just...
