The CUCV did give itself to save my house. I have minor roof damage. If the CUCV were not parked where it was, it would have surely caved in the entire carport & crushed the new truck.

Everyone is safe & sound, which is definitely the important part. I still have delusions of finding finding a body donor, though the frame may be messed up & it won't currently go far/at all due to an obviously bent rear axle.

After a happy 12 years, my CUCV is dead, victim to a 30" diameter tree knocked over by Thursday's tornado. I'd love to somehow save it, but its in rough shape. Besides the back being obviously crunched, the rear axle is bent, top is in pieces, body is twisted enough to where the driver seat is...

I tried my local dealership yesterday, Stokes Chevrolet in Clanton, AL. No-go. Just a "We can't pull it up in our system. Well, can't help you. Call Chevrolet."

After playing in the mud last night, it seems I have a new problem. After I shut my truck down, the oil light comes on & stays on. The only way to shut it off is to start the truck or pull the wire off of the oil pressure sensor. I'm thinking it has to be an ignition switch gone bad...

I'm changing the filter on the Th400 in my M1009 & when I pulled the old filter off, I noticed it wasn't mounted tight...? Everything is cleaned up & ready to go back together, but even with the screw fully seated & the spacer above the filter, there's a good 1/4" or even 3/8" between the head...

I'm having trouble replacing the eye bushing on the front sway bar on my stock M1009. Either all the parts houses have the wrong parts listed, or I'm having unusual difficulties getting the new bushings to fit into the eye holes on the sway bar. The bushing just seem too big to reasonably...

Did you check the u-joints in Neutral? I've often them to seem nice in tight when in Park, put it in Neutral & you'll find the slop & wobble.

Airtex E8153 (let me verify the model #). Its the correct pressure & volume for our trucks. Its also very WVO tolerant. :)

I run mine on straight WVO as soon as she is up to temp. Be sure to filter well, boil off the H20, & make sure its nice & heated, or goodbye IP.
