Any quality diesel fuel system cleaners?

Do you use pri-d? I did my research and thought it was my best choice. However talking to another pri-d user, it seems that it creates a film or crust on items (in the tank). I had a fuel leak on my MEP-802 drained the tank and found the inside of the plastic tank has a sediment crust on the...

    MEP-802a no fuel light problem

Thanks for the quick reply. Did the first load test today and she did good. The issue with the low fuel light did not return while working her. When I first got it I wiped the tank clean and remembered reading on these and did play with it while it was empty. It's mind boggling to me, never...

    MEP-802a no fuel light problem

I have been reading and trying to find an answer. I never had an issue with the low fuel light, till today. I have run my 802 numerous times ( never more than a couple hours at a time) and getting it ready for a load test. It had just below 3/4 tank on the gauge so I topped it off with fuel, it...

    Generator Accessories

I have to ask... What kind of covers did you make for the air intake grates. I'm currently wrapping mine up in a tarp, not sure if it keep moisture out or in[emoji848]. So far I removed one mouse nest and afraid there are more coming. Thanks, Erik Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    MEP-803A / MEP-802A Water Temp Gauge

Like Guyfang said, as long as it does what you need. I just a house with a pool, and was thinking of warming the pool water up during a bank test ( without anybody swimming). Heck I may as well send the heat to the pool instead of making it hotter outside. Thanks for your pics, I may go your...

    MEP-802A/803A gauge lighting

Well finally got to lighting up the gauges, wanted to color code the back lighting so the boss can relay to me what is what. I lit the fuel yellow, temp blue, and oil pressure red. Not to sure if the end result is what I like, may just stick with a brighter white. Sent from my XT1254 using...

    MEP-802A Injection Pump issue

Good question, I tried bench testing my IP's on a bench and had no luck. I bought one "out of a running engine" from eBay and two from a seized motor. I had an injector and a spare pump still no luck. Reading this post interested me to try again. I just wanted to test the parts for "working...

    MEP803A heater

I was thinking that as well, if you look at their current auction of 802's, they are all lined up and covered in snow. To me, the pics looked very close, especially years 96 vs. 05 units, the fuel pump and sensors caught my eye. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    MEP803A heater

I agree, I would be Pi$$ed off after driving that distance. Where is the professionalism there, oh take that one. I guess I have been lucky, both times I dealt with GL, it's been a good experience ( In PA ). Thanks for the heads up. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
