Looking for help. My LMTV is dead. No lights, no dash lights, flipping the switch to start and nothing happens. This symptom comes and goes. My batteries are fully charged. Waiting some period of time seems to resolve the issue. Ideas?

I too have this issue. In a brief bit of research the throttle connector run up and connects to the hand throttle and then into the engine bay. Seems like it's going to be a bit of work to disassemble pieces to get to the sticking part.

Yeah can't increase gear ratio without an equal reduction in torque to the wheels.

Where did you get the parts/work done? Are you happy with the conversion? Perhaps I could drive over and take a test ride?

Has anyone ever made wheel covers designed to protect the CTIS assembly on the wheel? seems almost a necessity to have such protection.

Hadn't thought about clearance. Not sure how much effect a 3.5 inch increase in ride height would effect center of gravity. Your you're idea of 14.00 tires is a good one. Either way seems a less costly, practical way to lower RPMs.

Has anyone tried the Michelin 1600 X r20 tires on their LMTV? They are 53" tall and would seem to be a way to lower RPMs or increase speed.
