Ray70 was correct. One of the field wires was chewed through. It was a pretty easy fix.I cleaned up all the rodent mess while I was in there. Once everything was cleaned up - I tested the unit and....it worked perfectly

I’m sure the same rodent that nested in it decided to chew a few wires. Time to take it apart.

I blew it out. Doesn’t look like any wires are chewed - but lots of rust from mouse pee and still can’t get it to make electricity

I checked out my “bad” duel float and indeed it’s not bad. I just picked up another 802a last week and it had the same issue. Both are tier 2 resets that never saw use. Both sitting at 2.2 hours which was what they were at after the reset. This time I took off the panel and loosened the nut...

I tested the quad fuse. It was good. On voltage regulator terminal 5 and 6 I got 0. Haven’t checked MPU or S14 yet.

This time it was 34.2 volts at both the convenience outlet and the lugs - no change when flashing the field

I have a mep 802a with 3 hours on it. Everything looks brand new. I fired it up and it shows no electricity being produced. Convenience outlets show 33.7 volts and lugs show 33.7 volts. Had anyone seen this issue before?

Wondering if anyone has had an issue with the no fuel warning on a mep 802a. It had fuel, but light comes on and set won’t run

I agree - it would be a hard business. I just have an extra I'm thinking about getting rid of. You know how it is - I bought one for the house and the next thing you know - I have generators everywhere. :doh:
