I would think you could find fender bead/ fender welt that would do the job.

I read though I can't find any info about it now that cashew oil added to engine crankcase was used to sabotage equipment during ww2. It worked by solidifying the oil . When we talk about WVO who knows what is in it?

I would be willing to bet that that 22gpm is freeflow capacity and that a sound engine uses a percentage of that capacity. In designing an oil system you would want flow capacity to exceed the amount needed to lube the engine.
