Newest gasket has no tab that sticks out from the head like in the pic below. The new gasket has no tab lik ein the second pic. Tab = BAD. They have seperate fire rings which is bad too. Ask me how I know.

Here is mine. These are noiser than a regular soft top. That cover is thin and lets all the sound of the exhaust stack come right on in. I have plans to cover it.

My alternator on my new to me deuce took a dump. Well it probably never did work. I don't want to fool with that piece of crap. Is this a J-180 mount? I am going to install a newer Delco of Leece in it. Thanks in advance.

There is no BB in the vehicle. The BBs bounce off. It the vibration they transfer into the glass that causes it to shater.

Pulling is reverse is a result of trucks traveling in the same direction on a narrow trail or road with no room to turn around. I do not believe traction has anything to do with it. It is simply the fact the t-case can not handle the loading in that direction.
