It really doesn't. Women have been playing D&D, checking online, working on vehicles and everything else since all of those things existed.
Our rarity is a symptom of lack of encouragement and of having to listen to "OMG THERE"S NO WOMEN HERE!" when ever we happen to show up.
He's already left me at home with the kids for several road trips. I am about ready to leave him home with the kids while I go to the Springs for a week and sleep in a nice Hotel with no one to wake me all night.

For being Retired my husband has spent more time out of the house since finding this site a few months ago than the last several years. I can only imagine what sort of trouble he will get up to once we have a trailer. Most likely I will eventually get to the point that I leave him at home with...

I guess he is lucky in that any hobby I pick up I tend to lose interest long before we need more space for it. Other than Reading I don't think I've ever needed more than a couple of drawers for something... And now that I have a Kindle my books do not really take up space.
