    What brand softop is this?

You can get the softopper with tinted windows too, I have a black top with tinted windows on my m1009. As far as I know, Softopper is the only company that still produces soft tops for our K5/,m1009 blazers

M1009 with 3/4 ton axles towing capacity?

For shackle flips, I have an ORD flip on my trail rig and a DIY4X flip on my m1009. I like the DIY flip better. Easier to install and it replaces the shackles. Plus later down the road if you change up your suspension, the diy shackles are easy to make yourself

    Rear Bumper/Tire rack for M1009

Anyone on here make a drop down tire carrier? With 37" hummer tires and a 4" lift, I don't want to break my back trying to pick one up high enough to get it on a swing out carrier

cleivis for the front bumpers on cucv, m1008, and m1009, etc.

X2 I picked two to replace the missing ones on my m1009 at the Iola WI swap last year. Think I paid $10 ea.

What color soft top should I get?

Ordering a soft top from softopper.com real soon for my M1009. I know black is a safe bet but I have seen an od green 70s k-5 with a tan top that looked good. My M1009 is the normal woodland camo . What do you guys think? Are there any pics floating around of M1009 with tan or black softops? (I...

Lift gurus help: 64" spring swap for oh8

In that case I wouldn't bother. 56s flex pretty good, just pull a few leaves and you should be set

Lift gurus help: 64" spring swap for oh8

I have them in the rear of my K-5 blazer trail rig. If you want the same wheelbase, you have to move the front mount forward. I have a 3-leaf pack + overload with 1" Zero-rate, 4" ORD shackle flip and 7" long DIY4X shackle. I think Im in the neighborhood of 4-5" lift. So far I havent noticed any...

    Deuce tires on the CUCV???

If you are using the top loader rockwells, then your driveline angles will be actually be better than with 1-tons

How Quiet can you make a m1009?

Please dont buy a mint CUCV and turn it into a plow truck, thus destroying it. Buy something thats a little beat up already and has some rust

    Stock MPG

So what does this do? What are the benefits? My M1009 got 19mpg before I lifted it and put 37s on it. I dont know what it gets now, tires throw off the odometer reading

At what point are the stock driveshafts to short

Hit the nail on the head!! Rear gets better but front gets worse. Remember, dropping the tcase will just pivot the drivetrain off the motor mounts, so the tcase will be at more of an angle

    rust free body

If no one here takes it, please post this on Coloradok5.com (or I can post it for you) I would hate to see a blazer body go to the crusher :-(

    HMMW-v tires

I ordered a set from trailworthy. 1 of the tires had a ton of tan paint on the sidewalls from when someone painted the hummer wheel while it was still mounted!! I was not happy with that, its now the spare so I dont have to look at it everyday
