I realize the axle is a torsion bar... Is it possible to lower the height of the axle or raise it like you raise the height of a 4X4 vehicle?

Does anyone know anything about these and being able to drive them on the street? I know its 10 tons 23 ft long 9 ft wide 16K isnt looking to bad if i can swing it.. But there's no point if I cant play....

They used a plasma cutter... That was a question I had in reference to the old axle though. The plasma cutter cut into the old axle as well, so I guess that makes that pretty useless now doesn't it?

So my next plan for this trailer is to have it completely bead blasted and have the under carriage and bed linexed... Ill do the sides of it the same as I did my truck... I'm thinking Khaki for the Under carriage and Sand color for the bed.

Now I just have to figure out what to do with the old axle, wheels and tires... The tires are civilian and near dry rotted anyway...
