I realize the axle is a torsion bar... Is it possible to lower the height of the axle or raise it like you raise the height of a 4X4 vehicle?

Does anyone know anything about these and being able to drive them on the street? I know its 10 tons 23 ft long 9 ft wide 16K isnt looking to bad if i can swing it.. But there's no point if I cant play....

They used a plasma cutter... That was a question I had in reference to the old axle though. The plasma cutter cut into the old axle as well, so I guess that makes that pretty useless now doesn't it?

So my next plan for this trailer is to have it completely bead blasted and have the under carriage and bed linexed... Ill do the sides of it the same as I did my truck... I'm thinking Khaki for the Under carriage and Sand color for the bed.

Now I just have to figure out what to do with the old axle, wheels and tires... The tires are civilian and near dry rotted anyway...

Picked up my trailer yesterday!. Yeaaaaa! for me I gave them (Rentz Trailers in Holiday, Fl) a call yesterday morning and the guy told me it had been ready for a week already. Because he doesn't let anyone do any pricing for him, they never did the right paperwork for my trailer so he didnt...

I know people are going to be like huh? I want to remove the surge brake Lunette from my M101A3 and put an M101A1 Lunette on there. Is it a simple change over? They way I will eventually use the trailer, I will not be using the surge brake. I'll be using electric brakes.

I have to say, so far I have been very pleased with my trailer... I got lucky in that it came with the fiberglass racks and steel bows. The only thing I had to locate was the tarp, and I made out pretty well on that as well.

Waiting on this guy to get back with me is driving me nuts.... Three to four weeks is a long time to wait.... ARgggggg
