There are 12v going to the glow plugs when the ignition is turned and none of the glow plugs are burned out. I think I may have found a problem but not sure. I removed the top of the injector pump and there are two solenoids underneath. The larger solenoid (I believe the shutoff solenoid)...
I was broke down, but that's because my starter also died :-) Had to get a tow truck to bring me home. Will do though. Checked voltage, it's good. Took out glow plugs and tested on battery, all heated up.
As a little background, I bought a M1008 from Northside Trucks & Equipment down in Orlando. It was a little on the pricy side and not the best shape but I was kind of in a bind and needed a vehicle. Though I have already had multiple problems with this truck (and I only bought it 2 days ago)...
Are you planning on keeping the heater in the evap box as well? If so, how do you plan to divert the air from heat to A/C? Are you making your own flap or did you fine one you could buy? I was thinking of doing this same thing but I couldn't find an easy way to do it without recreating the wheel.

Just curious, does anyone know who holds GL's contract or what their contract number is? I'm a Contracting Officer for the AF so I am curious who is responsible for administering their contract and, more to the point, who is responsible for their performance reporting. Anyone know when it expires?
It's bolted. Let me check and see if I need it to seal the door. PM me how much you are thinking and I'll let you know if I need it when I get home from work.
