Went fishing, of course there had to be Half a tank of fuel to dig threw. Found the shims mentioned and the end cap. Put it all together and she fired right up. These things are amazing, sat for almost 5 years and fired up after about 15 seconds of cranking. I zip tied the end of the pump...

I would also like to thank Kevin at Ft Drum, I drove 6 1/2 hours Thursday morning to be on base by 08:30 and was off base by 08:45. Kevin completed the paperwork and loaded me in no time at all. I made it back home by dinner time. Thanks again.

We have 2-V8 detroits in my FD. A 8V-71 with 24,000 hours,never rebuilt and a 8V-92 TA with 10,000 hours. The 71 is in a 1974 ladder truck that will be retired this year. Nothing runs or leaks like a Detroit.
I am looking for the Arm that the parking brake shoes attatch to. I only have the outside pad left. would your parts work on a M51A2 Dupt Truck? Thank you rwh64@aol.com
