My 2cents We have 2-V8 detroits in my FD. A 8V-71 with 24,000 hours,never rebuilt and a 8V-92 TA with 10,000 hours. The 71 is in a 1974 ladder truck that will be retired this year. Nothing runs or leaks like a Detroit.
