    The unofficial g749 picture thread

Here is mine the day I picked it up. 52 xm211. I've been working on this truck for the last few months, and currently resizing all of my pictures for my build thread, so that should be coming soon. Currently still in teardown mode. -Scott

Contemplating a Bobber! To do or not to do that is the question!

Definitely interested to see what you do with this. I have gone back and forth with the idea to bob mine as well. I'm kind of in the same boat, mine is far too modified to take it back to original, and I believe I would drive it more if it were bobbed. If you're interested, I can take some...

    Calling all bobbed experts

Thanks for the support and info everyone! This will be an ongoing project over the winter/spring, and will hopefully be back on the road come summer. I have a very talented circle of friends, so the fab work should not be a problem, just needed to know what you all have answered for me. I...

    Calling all bobbed experts

Ok, so after attempting to find any info on a bobbed 135/211, I have found nothing more than a couple pictures of one on a flatbed. I have a 52 m211 with a small block swap and 2 speed t-case. I have been throwing around the idea of bobbing it but I have some questions I cannot find answers too...

    Just got it home!

Thanks guys! I have to do some research on tcase numbers and such after I get a chance to crawl underneath it. It is a 400 small block, apparently the entire engine/tranny combo and wiring harness came from an early 70's chevy pickup, so it is a full 12 volt system. All of the modification...

Thanks! And yeah, a giant trailer would have made today a breeze. On the other hand, I will always have a memory of bringing home my first deuce. I got your pm, will be in contact soon. -Scott

    Just got it home!

Thanks for the info everyone! I will definitely take a ton of detailed pics of the mods on this truck and share any info I have once I get the bed off, and get it in the garage. Simp, I will definitely contact you when I get a better idea of everything I need, and what direction I decide to...

    Just got it home!

Thanks for the welcome. It was the original radiator, I'm not quite sure what I am going to replace it with yet, any suggestions are welcomed. Yeah, I will take some more pics of this bed, someone spent some serious time on it. It even has side gates that match that headache rack lol. It has a 4...

    Just got it home!

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm not sure who built the bed, but it is stout! I will be cutting it up and repurposing the metal though, just not my style.

    Just got it home!

Hey all, just got my 52 xm211 home from the previous owners place. It was quite the event! We started our journey at 0300 after getting out of work a little early. This is a running/driving truck, so we figured we would just simply drive it to my place about 30 miles away......... Well, we...
