So I decided to outfit my truck with a 5lb fire extinguisher. Not sure if/where it would have been mounted when in service so I decided to improvise. I devised a simple mount made of wood and magnets. Best part is there lots of different places to mount it on an all metal truck. Hope you like...
How about a small triangle file? Try recutting it by hand? Or just grind off the bad thread until you get to good thread? You only need 7 good threads for max holding power anyway.

Attended a Memorial Day car show. About 200 kids and parents climbed in and out and took pics. Wife brought the dogs up and we had lunch together mid way thru. Had a blast!

I appreciate the input so far guys. So I finally got around to testing my alternator output and it's low. 24.4v, 22.1v with the lights on as the TM says. The TM says to remove the hex plug and turn the adjusting screw ccw to increase the output volts to 27.8 to 28.2v...
