I pull my M101A2 with my 06 Wrangler with a 6cyl/6spd tranny. its pulls it fine, your truck wont have any issues other than reduced mileage. That ford 6 is pretty strong.

Welp, Just got myself an M101A2 from Hodges, SC for 285.00. Looks like its in great condition, no bows or top visible tho, but looks like its got HMMWV tires on it. Guess thats a good thing, even tho they are 3 inches bigger than what I have on the Jeep. Hopefully, I can stay away from bidding...

Did you win the M116 that was at Lejeune last week? I did some research... and its NOT an M101 Bed as they advertised. It's a M105A2 or 3, look at the non existant fenderwells inside the bed and the 2750lb weight.

Something about them not complying to to safety standards for civ vehicles... but then why would they sell them to LE Agencies..... sounds like BS to me.
