So a 7 or 8 kw generator would be plenty to run the A/C, lights, and be able to plug in other small appliances and such? also, can I use the 3 phase A/C unit with a regular generator? I honestly don't understand all of this

Why did you remove the almost new 3 phase a/c unit? Is it a bad idea to try to use that one? I'm asking because I'm trying to decide whether to keep mine or not and what power level of generator I'll need
