Lucky bugger... You have almost free trucks raining down out there.

This is as close as it gets for me lately, but it's...
"can't justify the $40,000 price tag of the newer trucks and can't fix em either."
That is just so very true. I just cannot fathom many family's affording new vehicles like that every 6 or 7 years plus the maintenance and upgrade costs that go along with them. I'm not rich by any stretch but...
Great news. Can't wait to see Ole' Yeller tooling around on it's own. Did you already want to ditch the hard top or was it just the price of doing business?
Mike talked about being able to change the background scheme back to the way it was in another post if that will help.

I'm liking the idea of the intercom setup, but I would like to find some kind of earbuds like for an MP3 player that will keep the outside noise out and the inside noise in without wearing the whole headset. But more towards the original topic I think you should be able to cut the noise...
I think the M900 series and the Oshkosh 7 tons above are very cool trucks. Like everything though it's all in the eye of the beholder. Here I am saving and scraping my heart out to afford a 30 + year old MV and the bosses son brings in his new 06 Dodge Cummins 3500 with over 300 h.p. and I think...
Which engine is in that 5 ton? How did it do off road? What kind of mileage does it get? Now you've opened a whole new can of worms... Oh and yes more pics please!
"But I never said I was an ex-spurt on this stuff." You wouldn't know it by looking at your fab. work.
Great pics. Brad and 73m819. Was there nothing close enough for your winch to hook to?
I don't care for the hood, the auto transmission or the CTIS which doesn't sound like it has ever been reliable on a fleet wide basis. But the big downer is the price - thousands more and for all that money the truck doesn't do anything more than the A2 and it's ugly to boot.
