My WC-51 has a 12V system and there is a starter solenoid mounted on the drivers side inner fender. There is nothing wire to the solenoid and the vehicle starts and runs without it. Any idea why it is there? I do not see it included in the TM wiring diagram.
I have had my Deuce for 2 years now and always started right up and ran great. The last three times I started it, it starts fine and then stalls after about 15 - 20 seconds. I crank it 2 to 4 times without success and then wait about 15 seconds and it starts up fine. Today I noticed that...
Well, took the 1945 WC-51 off the trailer today and moved it into the shop. Soldiers B & C help steer it into position as I towed and pushed it. Continuing to look for parts and tomorrow I will attempt to disassemble the combat wheels that were in the bed. The rim studs and nuts are really...
I am considering the purchase of three M37's in decent mechanical condition. One has a very nice hardtop but the windshield is different than anything I can find in my searches. The others have hardtops that were fabricated about the soft top frames. Is the windshield in the attached photos a...
Would it be possible to add the seller's location below the screen name in the main listing. That would reduce the number of views a person has to do if they are limited to a certain geographical area.
I planned to order a new speedometer adapter for my deuce today to accomodate my 395's. I called Boyce and they now want $112 for that puppy. When I checked last it was approximately $65. Anyone know of a source to get one that is cheeper than Boyce?
Anyone have a photo of the new style airpack with the brake switch upgrade installed? I have seen diagrams and photos of old style airpack installations but would sure like to see photo of the new one.
I replaced my 60 psi oil pressure gauge with a 120 psi. I must confused as to the wire connections. Does the #27 wire (from the spider harness) go to the ribbed connector of the smooth connector?
Looking to move six HEMTT wheels and 395 tires from central Wisconsin to Texas. Anyone move in that direction? Flexible on time period and drop off point.
For those who have replaced the weather seals on your deuce doors, did you install the seal on the passenger door area where the gun ring bracket is mounted? It does not seem to have enough surface area for it to stick.
I am disassembling my cab doors and I started by removing the glass. The 20 TM recommends marking the location of the regulator stop brackets before removing the glass. Unfortunately, my doors do not have all the brackets mentioned. The parts missing are shown by the orange arrow. They are...
I am installing a relay switch and terminal block to handle some 24V accessories (fan, dome light, etc) and I want to control the relay and terminal block via the master switch. My plan it to come off the #27 wire on the master switch to the relay. What is the best way to tie into wire 27?
I am looking for information on the correct position of the foam cowl sealwhich goes between the cowl and the windshield frame. I know the seal is glued on the bottom of the frame but I do not know if it goes in the center, toward the front edge or toward the rear edge of the lower frame. The...
I am re-installing the hood on my deuce and I forgot which way the hinges are positioned. I am not sure whether the two prong portion of the hinge is on the cowl or hood side. I have attached a picture on my hinge as currently installed. Would someone please check their deuce and let me know...
Are the patterns on all of the vinyl camo cargo covers the same. For example, if you paint the truck to match the cargo cover, will it be the same if you replace the cover? I am sure the government has more that one source but do they follow the same specs?
