    DIY Tire Balancing

I will do so. Considering the commercial trucking industry is on board, I suspect they'll be successful. Interesting concept. Over 100 year old technology.

    DIY Tire Balancing

Good point! And I can't hear anything anyway. In a HMMWV all I hear is roaring engine, cooling fan, and tire noise!

You tried both brands because you could "hear the steel balls in the Centramatics?" So did they perform any differently? Thanks...

    DIY Tire Balancing

Looks like they mount between the hub and the wheel (Balance Masters image)l. The holes are probably plentiful and spaced for multiple applications.

Has anyone found a bubble type tire balancer that's heavy duty enough for the HMMWV wheel/tire/runflat?

    M1123 Fill Up

When I received mine it leaked as well. Filler pipe hose was both loose and the support bracket was disconnected at one end. Reconnected / tightened, voila - no leak.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

That's a great color too. How did the soft material take the paint?

Installed the ground kit and the horn started working. :-D A must-do IMO. It was very easy. Installed a new heater valve control cable. Installed locking door handles. Also removed the boxes from inside the ATTBAR top. Mucho space reclaimed without losing any rigidity! The kids seem to...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Painted my top with Rapco's Forest Green (not CARC 383). Thinking of doing the whole machine this color.

    M998 fuses ? circuit breaker ?

We have a winner! All tidy now and they work great! Thanks for the help! Added note: When reassembled, the wipers were intermittent when I would gently flex the windshield fore and aft. Turns out the contacts needed a very thin wave washer on top of each contact to make a good connection...
