What did you do to your deuce this week?

Welcome to the forum. Have a hose shop make up replacements out of Aeroquip #666 hose or equivalent (Teflon inner with a 300 series stainless outer braid). If you want it to match the rest of the hoses put black shrink sleeve over it before you install it.

About to give up on my Centrifuge! Help...

Is it possible that the clean oil that is being discharged back into the barrel is disturbing the crud on the bottom? It might be worth while to discharge the clean oil it to a second heated barrel and then use that one for the polishing operation.

    Strange "Chirp" Sound...

Although not likely but it could be the needle bearings in one of the planetaries in the transmission. Sounds kind of like a bird caught under the floor boards but is usually intermittent.

Wanted: opinions on our custom mirrors

Yeah they look clean. I think you need to put a third strut rod on them so they are fully triangulated. At least on the passenger side, that is the one that usually gets nailed by low hanging trees on the side of the road. Personally I like the west coast setups.

    Imron paint

You can add flattening agent to most base coats and or clears to acheive a semi-gloss or flat finish. Any good auto/aircraft paint supply shop should be able to order it.

Yukon Lockers. Found a good deal.

From personal past experience I don't recommend them for either off road or highway use. Lincoln lockers don't last and when they fail (usually at the worst possible time) they frag and take out the rest of the chunk. Besides spools are available for less than lockers.

    Imron paint

It used to be popular for the over the road trucks. It's very tough but difficult to sand and touch up.

    Oops...stuck in the mud.

NCBloodhound sounds like you need to invest in a Hi-lift and some sand ladders. Glad to hear that you got it out.

You need to check out Whittram Avenue west of Cherry Ave in Fontana. I think Thier is at least one heavy truck wrecking yard left on that street. Might also try Slover ave while you are out in that area. google a map for the 92335 zip code and check it out. Good luck.

Has anyone here had fuel stolen?

A few years ago I caught a fella at around 3am walking up to my 64 f100 with a piece of garden hose and five gallon bucket. Pretty sure he was workin on a second round out of my tank that morning. I mad sure he understood that if I ever saw him again that the cops would be the least of his...

    Ok, The Mystery Continues

It's easy to miss a small crack. Pull all of the valves and have the head magnafluxed. As an alternative if you machine shop doesn't have the magnaflux setup you could use Dye Penetrant instead. Don't forget to check in the ports and around the valve seats for cracks. Could it be possible...

Started fabricating a hitch for the truck

I think your going to regret putting a 1 5/8" instead of a 2" receiver tube on it. I don't think I have ever seen a drop ball mount for 1 5/8.
