I just received a .125 gernerator 115 v single phase 400 cycle special purpose portable its very small. Smaller than a 50 cal ammo can. Does anyone know what it would be used for. I dont have a way to down load picturrs but the manuel that came with it is TM 5-6115-330-15. Thanks
A friend of mine agreed to sell me his mighty might in exchange for my mighty might project and some cash. His is about 90 % restored. Rebuilt engine, new winter top with doors and curtains and new tires and fresh paint.
Can any one advise if there is a spare tire mount. I see them in the...
I was going to call Bill today but I wasted my morning in court. When I got out I spent the rest of my shift locking up two trespassers. I think his new hours would mean I cant call him until monday. I'm still sratching my head trying to figure out how to free the valve.
I finally got the time to work on my mule yesterday. I removed the oil pressure regulator plug and spring. The spring had a black tar substance on it. I beleive it is the byproduct of a leaky fuel punp allowing fuel to mix with oil and then sit for years and allowed to dry. The really bad news...
Interchangablily between a1 and a2 parts
Can anyone advise if the bows, top and doors are the same for the a1 and the a2. Also what about a hard top. Is there any difference between an a1 and an a2 hard top. What is a fair price for a complete hard top with doors? thanks
Thanks for the info. I am considering modifying the rear section and bolting the ROPS to the top of the rear fenders instead of mounting the braces inside the fenders. I was told that was a perferred method for installing it on an a1. Can you advise if your A1 handled differently after the...
After I got the lifters freed up I tried to crank the engine. That’s when I found out problem #2. The oil seal at the canister blows out. I purchased a conversion to use a screw on filter. It works great. I also called bill Watson and was told to make sure the valve going to the carb. pipe is...
I finally got the opportunity to look at the rear suspension system on an m151a2 and actually see how different they are. My next question would be has anyone had any luck trying to limit the travel on the lower control arm. My mutt has no collector value. I am trying to make it into as much...
rops
I am now the proud owner of 1 complete (at least I think it is complete) rops system. I like the low profile of the mutt and understand the higher center of gravity by adding the rops but i keep going back to the thought of rolling a mutt over and not having a rops. It seems to me that...
Can anyone advise if a rops kit will fit on a m151a1 or will it have to be modified. If it does have to be modified can anyone advise the process.
Also is there a market for take off, uncut, m151a2 suspension parts. thanks fred
Can anyone advised what a fair price is for take off mutt tires. They have plenty of tread left on them. I am not sure if they are weather cracked. I am going to look at some tomarrow and would like to have an idea what they are worth before I make an offer. I know at least one of them is a...
Thanks I will check that. Bill Watson said it may be a valve I had turned off that is located on the vent line going to the carb. It is intended to be closed when the mule is tuned up on its end for servicing. I have also been told from other sources that it may be a bad oil filter. I hope...
Finally got one problem fixed and another one appears. Could anyone lead me in the right direction. I got my mule to crank however now it blows the seal on the oil canister. For some reason it appear to have a blockage in the oil system. Has anyone had this problem before. Thanks
Finally got the time to do something with the mule engine. It appears the lifters were stuck in the up position. Must have been from sitting after I rebuilt it. I also found out the ring gear on the flywheel was not centetred. I was able to get that fixed as well.
I located an m1010 with 700 miles on it. That is my next project. It is supposed to have a bad injector pump and a bent drive shaft. A goat is on the list but I have already obligated myself to the m1010. I looked at and it and there is no wear on the steering wheel and the rubber on the...
The volt meter I have only has the two posts in the back. I dont remember seeing the other posts that go to the resistor. I will double check but I think I may be out of luck.
Can you advise more on the volt meter fix. I dont know where the resistors are located. The only thing i see on the bacl of the volt meter is the two terminals thanks
