I've got FM 9-43-2 at work, all 5.9 MB of it. Clear your EM and PM it to me and I'll e-mail it to your tomorrow. Elwinel's (sp) already got as do a few others, check the 5 ton forum for the thread.

I check out GL for S&G but if and when I get serious about buying one, it will probably be from a member here or someone like Joe Young. The closest trucks I see are in Montgomery, AL, about 4 hours one way - too far to do inspections.

Don't know if this will help or not, but FM 20-22 has been superseded by USMC FM 9-43-2, Recovery and Battlefield Damage Assessment and Repair. I've got an electronic copy at 5.9 MB. It might be e-mailable.
Send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.
Thanks,
Al

Ok, good enough.
If someone who has a scanner and *.pdf conversion program can PM me their name, address and e-mail, I'll order it tonight or tomorrow and have it shipped directly to them.

I think I answered my own question since the second link gave me his document number.
I've tried to ask for a quote but I keep getting error messages. I can turn Word into *.pdf but I have no scanner.

OK, how about south Tennessee? I know about the tired iron guys in Knoxville.
There use to be a very nice Deuce in a storage lot about 2 miles from my house. Anybody want to come over and kick my butt for not looking into it 2 months ago? I deserve it.

And I wish I could gloat over that fact, but I must tell the truth that I can't: I spent about an hour (at work) trying to find the +20MB file and I failed (we have both the old and the new, usually doesn't matter). I may have a source from a 4x4 forum, but I gotta find it again and then see...
Bjorn,
We're getting ready to start experimenting in making small quantities of BD. Maybe in concert with a local High School chemistry class, they learn, we learn, then maybe we can scale it up.
Question: What specific procedures are you using? I've got the book "Fryer to the Fuel Tank"; my...
