Actually, this is the best idea I've heard, but I think my kids would disown me, we spend a lot of time in my pool!
I now think it's not going to be a problem. Here's why:
Original restrictions statement:
"C-ll COMMERCIAL VEHICLES. No trucks, boats, trailers, etc., commercial type vehicles...
Detached garage is out due to very large pool in the back yard, which leaves me about 20 feet to park my trailer and a Deuce. Plus, detached buildings are supposedly not allowed per HOA restrictions, although some people have detached storage sheds, so this one's probably fightable.
In any...
I live in a neighborhood that has a "weak" HOA. One of the restrictions listed the HOA restrictions page is the following:
<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: -0.95pt">C-ll COMMERCIAL VEHICLES. No trucks, boats, trailers, etc., <SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; COLOR...
2"!!!
Both of my GV configurations used 3/8" line. Obviously, things are going to be a little bigger in Deuce-world than what I'm used to.
Slick, simple system. I plan to do the same.
Thanks,
Al
Ok, found it. The truck I was looking at went for $3055.55. Wonder what it looked like... the GL guy never got back to me about a preview time and date.
Thanks,
Al

Anybody know what type trailer the desert tan trailer is (3rd and 4th last pics)?
Thanks,
Al
I need the specification numbers for the M100, M103, M105 and M416 trailers. I shouldn't need the specs themselves since I believe I can get them here at work; however typing the above models numbers into the search engine yields a big fat nada. Anybody know these spec numbers?
All help...
Well, dang gum it! Four vehicles I was watching for sale in Montgomery (3 M35's and 1 five ton) were taken off the list last night, apparently after bidding closed. Also, I note that they have several more vehicles at the Montgomery site, all state that no title will be issued (I assume this...
Your the guy with the +16 MB fording video, right? I've been sending that video out to everyone at work (using the company server, shhh, don't tell the IT guys!). Everyone gets a big kick out of it.
Did your truck come with that desert paint job or did you do it? If you did it, what paints...
Well, that's not going to fly in Alabama anymore.
Years ago, you could get a title to any vehicle with nothing more than a bill of sale. Now it's a properly executed (i.e. absolutely perfect) signed over title or you not going to get one from the state of Alabama.
So, in the case of GL in...
Thanks for the comments.
Talked to my brother-in-law yesterday. He owns and operates a sod farming business and runs 70-100 gallons per day in his big semi-truck. I asked him what he would charge me to run down to Montgomery and back with a M35A2.
Bad news: His answer was "fuel...
We went by today having nothing else to do after helping a club member with a lift kit. No M35A2's that I could see, several old M-715's, a bunch of trailers and a couple of 5 tons (?). A few sample pics included below, all pics will be posted by mid next week or.
Thanks,
Al
There used to be one at a self storage place about a mile or so, but don't know if it's still there and have no idea how to get a hold of the owner.
Did a search on this site for Alabama, found a couple of threads, but no apparent owners.
Thanks,
Al
I've heard that he has a lot of MV's mostly Jeep. I've got his phone number from the MVPA site and have been calling him with no answer.
Does anybody know about him and whether or not he has any M35A2's??
Thanks,
Al
P.S. did a search on "Werner" all threads for last year; zero results (you...

Desert Rat,
Yea, gravity always works. I had a GV on my '85 Nissan and I'm about to put one on my '85 Toyota 4Runner, 40 gallons should work pretty good!
Questions:
- What size tubing/fuel line did you use?
- What's your procedure for filling the tanks? Is the fuel line big enough to fill...
