Emails are nice but a phone call is the only way you can actually get ANYTHING done with these people.... It's always best to try and deal with the site guys directly, in my experience, they have always been more than happy to help out if they can and have not had any problems working below...

I think it's interesting that everyone seems to be talking about a whistler and non whistler, like there are ONLY those two, Model C and Model D out there:drool:..... and this is neither:confused:, and it 'looks' like it's about 3 times as large as the C or the D models... and it's NOT a...
It's definately a thermostat sticking... if you are going to the trouble of taking the old one out, why even contemplate putting it back in? I would recommend that you just get a new one, install it and be done with it... 2cents
I've tried Carquest and Napa... brought in old seals, tag off Rockwell axle etc... no luck... :-(

My understanding is that the LDS-427 was the predecessor to the LD-465... is that right? So you say it's 'correct' for this truck?
My 1964 M275A1 has what looks to be a rather large turbocharger on it... I've never seen one that looks like this on other Deuce and a halfs...
I'm looking for more information on this... Searches on SS has so far been rather fruitless...
