So, I put most of it together but I think this was for a standard bed. There are 7 bows and the bed has slots for at least 8. I'll see how the canvas fits tomorrow.
I have 7 bows, 4 side rails (2 different lengths), 14 angles and 14 fiberglass posts (3ft 9 in). This is for an ISO bed.
The part I don't understand is why are there short posts (3'9") and 14 of them. Do they connect?
Do the side rails stay on by sliding the posts through the side rails into...
5 Ton ISO Bed canvas installation new questions
EDIT
So I got the bows up ad pulled out the canvas. It seems like there are 2 sets of covers. Maybe when they changed the bed they kept the old cover. The other one is almost new and was folded up nicely. It also looks larger.
So, my question is...
6500 for the plates alone. Plus you have to pay for the labor. The motor compartment isn't armored which means that rounds can come through the firewall if shot at from an angle. So you're not protected and neither is your motor. I have plans to armor mine in the future but I'm going to focus on...
Added another fire extinguisher. The jerry can holder was replaced because it didn't fit a jerry can with my ISO bed. Now I have 2 fire extinguishers. One 10 lb in the cab and one 20 lb out side.
Moving to AZ for work from FL but will still own a house in FL. I'm keeping my FL driver license and CWP.
FL doesn't require a tag to be placed on your MV and my truck will remain registered in FL with antique plates for now. Will I need to add the plates to my truck?
Any laws regarding MVs...
No...just have more important issues to deal with on the truck. And, if its not needed at this point it can wait. Have change the front boots and seals. Then the other filters and fluids.
Good to know. I was going to change it every time I change the other filters. My truck is 30 years old and runs strong. No need to mess with it if its not needed.
So we are sure these are the right parts?
the part number for the filter! FP-146483 I also found a supply house that sells it. hdengineparts.com $2.77 each. O-ring Item #: M-154088 SEAL RING Item #: FP-154088 $0.13 each
Looks better on the bumper or fender. I think the route clearance lights are ugly. A light bar looks better.
If you're going to put it on top of the winch get an LED light bar.
Or, get one of these;
