I'll have used and reconditioned bow sets at Aberdeen, if I don't sell out by then. Also the NOS TM9-2320-209-20-1 & 20-2, 2-part set Trouble Shooting - Organizational Level and TM9-2320-361-34P NOS Maintenance, Repair Parts and Special Tools - Direct & General Support. This is a really...
Bill,
E-mail me, I know that I have ells and some uprights.
I have a complete set of used bows with the neat short steel uprights: $150.00 + UPS.
Ells: Used $5.00 ea., NOS 10.00 ea., plus UPS. Uprights $5.00 - 10.00 depending on condition.
Rated GVW of the M35A2 is less than 26,000, but in NJ I can tag it for a lor more if I wanted to, but didn't. I tagged mine for 14,000 GVW and the neat thing is there's no inspection required for 10.000 lb. - 16,000 lb. GVW.
Well, you missed out on my NOS fiberglass bow sets, but I do have a set of wood reconditioned. I cleaned the wood and blasted the ells and screws, primed and finish painted: $195.00 + UPS.
It goes without saying that I'm always ready to help. Problem is, very few MV'ers venture into South Jersey, except the ones that live here (and Bruce Kubu)!
Tools, parts, torch, welder, knowhow and 5-ton Cummins wrecker.

There's a formula for computing bridge weight, but most people just divide the tare (empty) weight or the loaded (when loaded) weight by 2,000 and round off to the neartest higher ton (i.e.: 13,700 lb. tare = 07 bridge plate #). When pulling a trailer, the top piece of the plate is reversed so...
Thanks for the compliments, fellows.
As far as the truck running, that's only a fraction of what could be wrong with the truck. I've had to replace/repair more than one motor, clutch, transmission, transfer case, Sprag and loads of other stuff. Sometimes multiple major problems on a truck. I...
Richard,
You're so right about not many wanting to do it, like the big Monroe shop in town. $84.00 per hour labor charge posted and they didn't want to do the job. Quality did it in two hours at $40.00 per hour.
I just got my truck back from the shop, Quality Muffler & Brake, Vineland, NJ 856-696-3920. Between OEM parts and some custom work, it now has a complete new exhaust system from the manifolds to the outlets. All of the other shops that I visited were a waste of time. Luckily, a counterman at...
I hate to admit this, but I didn't go on that ride and don't know why the hood is up. One of the trail rides that I did go on in the Wharton Tract included a stop at the Warren Grove Air National Guard. Now this was really neat. We were allowed to go up the control tower and stand on the...
Shell,
You are correct. The distributor is mechanical advance. Thanks for the compliment on my site, there's a lot to see, for sure. Somewhere around thirty pages, in all.
So true, mcbaine! In a sense, it was worth the trip. The yard has a giant conveyor belt that can handle a buss. Belt takes vehicles to the top and drops them in a chute. Itty bitty pieces come out at the bottom. A magnetic crane picks up the pieces and loads onto a waiting truck. Then off to...
Those lines are very important! This is a vent system to rid the distributor of harmful gasses. Without the vent, you'll be constantly replacing points.
I might still have a correct carb in my parts, I'll have to look.
