It was nothing on the scale of New Orleans that's for sure, but you never know. Even rolling throght the "bad" parts of town. People were on their porches waving and taking pics. Probably just glad to see someone was around driving making sure everything was ok.
Here's the only pic I managed to snap. It's down the street from the house. Water here was easily clearing the hood of this poor ranger. Was one of the deepest spots we hit. The tops of the fenders on the M35 were pushing the water.
One gentleman was stuck on the hood of his F-250 4x4...
Think I have a developing problem with my M35A2. Went for a quick spin around the block and noticed some problems in the steering and different noises
First, when turning at lower speeds the truck now has a buck in the steering. This hasn't ever been here before and just noticed today...
I just got back from picking up my lot of 6 tires. All of which are brand new tires. Got to RRAD at 12:45 and was going out the gates and back home around 2:00.
Thought they could have a better system, but overall so far so good and no major compliants or horror stories from me.
Couple months back I installed a completely new parking brake and cable.
How tight should I adjust the nut on the cable to where it pulls the shoes tight. Right now it's tightented to where there is no movement between any of the shoes against the drum(?) when the brake is engaged. But the...

My truck is dated 1971. I'll take an M66 or an M49, whichever one is complete and looks the best etc. I would like an M49 just because it's earlier, but if a nice M66 one turned up. I'd probably buy it.
Re: RE: Re: Convoy Lights
LOL, negative.
But here in the coming weeks I'll be looking for a complete M49 ring mount set.
Also thanks to Jeff (Deuceswild) for the instructions. Maybe I can get them on when it warms up here later in the week.
Dad got me a convoy light kit for Christmas. Can anyone point me towards a TM or an online source on how to put these things on the truck? We kind of have an idea on how they might go on. But instrucktions would help.
Here's a video recording off my phone. Not the best picture quality, but you can definately hear the motor. My truck has a C turbo.

Yeah the M135 that's at the house has a really really good body on it. But it was missing the transmission. I located a transmission for it and have it stored by the garage. But then my dads friend (Willared, wrecker owner) mentioned one of his long time buddies had another truck "like we...
So I finally figured out how to get pics off of my phone, so I figured I'd post up my latest arrival. It's an M-211 with a DD of 1954 if I recall. Most of the body and frame are shot. But the truck runs, has good axles, and some body parts are still salvageable. Many thanks go to my good...
