I was the sucessful bidder on 3 pallets of shop furniture located in Mechanicsberg,Pa that i need to transport back the Joliet,Il area. According to GL it weights 1000 lbs. I highly doubt it, but just a hunch. I wanted to ask if anyone might be able to help out - will contribute to fuel costs...

Does this truck have a cummings diesel? Oil cooler,air compressor and head gasket are all areas where there may be a problem. If i remember right they were also susceptible to holes developing in the cylinder liners if the coolant chemicals become out of balance (electrolysis) the head gasket...
IF you had delayed them would there not be some type of demerrage chage????? so why can it not be applied back at the shipper? If you were on time as scheduled you should be able to recoup waiting time. Just my opinion. Atleast that is the way things are handled in the normal world.

i think to have a vehicle dot certified it must have a hard wired steering system, steering systems that are all hydraulic are not for on highway applications.
